Depth Of Field Skyrim Xbox One
I like it. Scenes seem more like watching flick.
i like information technology, simply plough it off because my computer is a toaster
Can't stand up it...not fifty-fifty a trivial. I'm not more often than not besides picky about things like that but I really dislike the DoF.

No. The reason is the display should show an undistorted view so your optics can do the dof themselves. I accept a 27" monitor. I can just run into ane surface area of it in focus. But if I movement my eyes to another surface area of the monitor then that area should exist as in focus. With computer generated dof, it won't be. So you will see computer dof and your ain dof.
Also in the real world, dof doesn't be. Everything is undistorted.
There's a popular rpg that actually puts clay and rain droplets on the display and distorts the object projection as if the player is viewing the game through a inexpensive camera lens. But cameras weren't around in the rpg world and so all it does is destroy immersion and have mods written to remove the effects.
If your system had heart tracking then maybe it could work. But why waste product gpu on an unecessary effect?

No, I plough that crap off in every game, aforementioned with motion blur, I want the game to exist as clear and as sharp as possible
The only time I see it at present is on scripted events or prerendered videos which unfortunately I tin't exercise annihilation nigh
I recollect the only reason game developers go along adding information technology is to cake out the LOD of the distance but personally that has never bothered me

Always off, doesn't matter what game information technology is I cant stand it.
In SSE I like it. In some other games I turn it off. In Skyrim SE information technology works really well for me in some scenes where I take in the view. I have increased the FOV and that seems to complement DOF.
Very much, and it's the first game I've ever enjoyed maxing it out on. Looks prissy and misty.. at to the lowest degree on an IPS monitor.
People mutter DoF break immersion, but tin nosotros run into ourselves in third person in real life? Or do I need to go to Kamar Taj and larn Astral Projection?
A picayune subtle DOF is pretty nice. People similar deride it for the the blurred details, but I like it for its effect of making things you lot're actually looking at "pop." An outcome that's peculiarly overnice when yous've got things written on in-game signs for example. Just makes information technology easier to read for me.
I do really dislike Foreground DoF though.

I like it, though information technology'due south a little buggy at 21:9. Happy I don't need an enb for the outcome.
I use RESHADE DoF Matso... The best...
Very much, and it'due south the kickoff game I've always enjoyed maxing it out on. Looks nice and misty.. at least on an IPS monitor.
Same here. Don't really like it in other games, merely in this game it works for me.
I tried it on an skillful IPS monitor and a proficient TN monitor and it works well on both.
